Solution 4: Word Problems

1. The pattern is 15, 20, 15, 20, and so on. The LCM of 15 and 20 is 60. For the 6th necklace, Maya will need 60 beads.

2. The HCF of 36 and 48 is 12. They can distribute the bars to 12 friends, and no bars will be left.
